Puting Buhangin Cave, is classified Class II cave by the Regional Cave Committee and open to public for tourism purpose, however, cave tourists have to be accompanied by professional cave guides. It is a cave system comprising of several caverns and natural tunnels and continuous flowing stream. Its ecology includes fruit bats, rare species of fishes, cave spiders, crickets, reptiles, etc. and the habitat of Philippine Swiflets. Situated at Purok 20 in Barangay Poblacion, Puting Buhangin Cave can be accessed via these junctions at Purok 13 near the Monato Institute of Technology and Purok 20 Sito Os-os in front of the Municipal Hall along the Daang Maharlika/National Highway. At the caving site is the Puting Buhangin Spelunkers Hub which is a tourism facility operated by the LGU Prosperidad to cater cavers and or visitors.
